【展讯】馆藏古画首展|“踏雪寻梅:刘海粟美术馆馆藏梅花主题作品展”明日开展!

由刘海粟美术馆主办的“踏雪寻梅——馆藏梅花主题作品展”将于3月25日在刘海粟美术馆对外展出,展期为2023年3月25日-2023年5月14日。

以梅花为代表的中国经典意象,代表着中国传统思想中对事物超脱于表面的深入思考。从古至今,梅花一直被用作映照内在高尚品格的传统意象,在不同的艺术家笔下各具风采。


As one of the representatives of the Chinese classical image, plum blossom represents the deep thinking beyond the surface intraditional Chinese ideology. Since ancient times, plum blossom has been used by various artists as a classical image to reflect the inner noble character and to create artwork in a variety of manners.

研究中国传统意象是探源和传承中华文化根基的切入点,也是推动和活化中国传统文化创新性发展的重要方式。作为岁寒三友的代表之一,我馆计划将松、竹、梅三个中国古代传统意象的馆藏主题作品展形成系列展,此次“踏雪寻梅:刘海粟美术馆馆藏梅花主题作品展”为该系列的首展。展览入选上海市美术馆青年策展人成长计划,将展出27件入藏刘海粟美术馆以来首次出展的作品,也是刘海粟美术馆开馆以来展出古代藏品最多、最集中的一次展览


The study of traditional Chinese image is the entry point to exploring the source and inheriting the foundation of Chinese culture, and it is also a crucial method for promoting and activating the innovative development of traditional Chinese culture. As one of the representatives of the Three Friends of Winter: pine, bamboo and plum, Liu Haisu Art Museum plans to form a series of exhibitions based on these three traditional Chinese images, and this exhibition,  ‘Searching for Plum Blossoms in Snow: Liu Haisu Art Museum Collection Plum Blossom Theme Works Exhibition’ is the first exhibition of this series and has been selected for the Shanghai Art Museum Young Curators Development Program. 27 works will be on view for the first time since being collected by the Liu Haisu Art Museum, which is the largest and most concentrated exhibition of ancient collections since the opening of the Liu Haisu Art Museum.

在快节奏的当下,充斥着碎片化信息,随之也带来对大众思维方式和思考深度的影响。本次展览不仅是对中国传统意象的展示和解读,更是希望能激发观众对传统意象本源的回望和对传统文化精神的思考,进而探索传统文化在当代语境下的时代意义。


In the fast pace of the present, full of fragmented information, the way and depth of thinking of the masses are affected alongside. The aim of this exhibition is not only to display and interpret traditional Chinese image, but also to inspire audiences to look back at the source of traditional image and reflect on the spirit of traditional culture, thereby exploring the significance of traditional culture in a contemporary context.

展览以刘海粟美术馆馆藏历代梅花主题作品为主线索,结合多种形式的当代梅花主题征集作品展示,从黄筌到刘海粟,从架上绘画到多种材料的创作,从线上线下的VR体验到公教活动,系统化、多维度的展示和剖析梅花这一中国经典意象,展现梅花在各艺术家笔下既有共性又充满个体多样性的创作,呈现意象性表达的传承与变迁,以“晏岁姿”、“淡墨痕”、“万里春”和“雪未销”四个版块展示中国古代传统意象象征意义的形成、梅花意象的形成及溯源、梅花意象多重含义背后的社会及精神层面因素解析以及意象性创作对近当代的启发和在当代的现状,贯穿历史与今天。


Based on the collection of past generations of plum blossom themed artworks in the Liu Haisu Art Museum, combined with various forms of contemporary plum blossom themed works collection and display, from Huang Quan to Liu Haisu, from easel painting to the creation of multiple materials, from online and offline VR experiences to public education activities, systematically and multi-dimensionally display and analyze the classic Chinese image of the plum blossom. In addition, to display the similarities and individual diversity of plum blossom theme artworks created by different artists and to present the inheritance and transition of symbolic expression.By presenting four chapters, ‘Weather-beaten Gesture’, ‘Faint Ink Trace’, ‘A Thousand Leagues of Spring’ and ‘Snow Has Not Melted'. These four chapters are designed to demonstrate the formation of the symbolic meaning of traditional Chinese images in ancient times, the development and origin of the plum blossom image, the analysis of the social and spiritual factors behind the multiple meanings of the plum blossom image, and the inspiration and current situation of contemporary art creation, throughout history and today.
